JFC Chairperson

Greetings

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of Japan Film Commission’s (JFC) founding and at the start of a new decade for the organization, I was appointed as the chairperson. It is indeed a great honor for me to serve this industry.

Today, films and movies are available in various media. We hope that JFC serves as a bridge between local resources and producers in order to spread Japan’s appeal around the world. We believe that the value that film commissions create will be even greater. I am strongly committed to the development of film commissions in Japan and promotion of film culture.

Your continued cooperation and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
